Bus Body Parts

Summary

The purpose of this announcement is to express the intent of The Jacksonville Transportation Authority to award a Sole Source Contract to Gillig LLC for providing bus body parts. The JTA currently operates a fleet of Gillig buses for its Fixed Route Service. To ensure the buses are kept in good condition as a result of normal wear and tear as well as accidents, the JTA intends to align with a partner for the purchase of repair parts listed in Gillig’s Parts Manual Book, specifically, the parts listed in sections entitled Body, Windows, Ad Frames and Trim Panels. These parts are proprietary to Gillig. All parts listed in these so titled sections of any Parts Manual from Gillig would be included in the resulting Sole Source Contract.
