AC Lines on Chevy 3500 Series Cutaway Buses

Summary

The JTA previously purchased aftermarket air conditioning lines for its 3500 series Cutaway buses. Upon installation it was determined that these parts did not connect properly with the already in place original equipment (hereafter “OEM”). This has resulted in leakage and ultimately air conditioning system failure. Any supplier able to provide OEM air conditioning lines for its 3500 series Cutaway buses should notify the Authority promptly. The OEM parts are required to be purchased new and on an as needed basis.
