Train Control System Assessment

Summary

The Purpose of this announcement is to express the intent of The Jacksonville Transportation Authority to award a Sole Source Contract to Thales Transport and Security, Inc., the original equipment manufacturer, to provide a system assessment to modify the train control system on the left guideway from Jefferson Station to the terminus at Convention Center Station for Phase 1. The findings will be recorded in a System Impact Analysis document. Phase 2 will include maintenance support, based on Phase 1 solution, to assist with the modification of the train control system that will include certifying the system for revenue service.
