Micro-Transit Services

Summary

The Jacksonville Transportation Authority (JTA) is developing a comprehensive analysis to identify the cost of providing Micro-Transit Services in dense, urban neighborhoods of the Jacksonville region including but not limited to; LaVilla, Brooklyn, Riverside, Avondale, San Marco, Midtown and the Beaches (Atlantic Beach, Neptune Beach and Jacksonville Beach). Micro-Transit will serve as an agile transportation solution to work in conjunction with the Fixed Route service. It will consist of small vehicles that 1) circulate customers around the defined centers of activity within at least a mile radius of the specified zones and 2) transport customers from one zone of activity to a different zone.  The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to gather vehicle specs, infrastructure requirements, workforce needs and maintenance details.
