Notice of Intent to Issue RFQ for Phase 1 of the Ultimate Urban Circulator (U2C) Program

Summary

The Jacksonville Transportation Authority (“JTA”) is embarking on the Ultimate Urban Circulator Program (“U2C”), as further described below, a first-of-its kind program to transform downtown Jacksonville through modernization and expansion of its downtown circulator (Automated Skyway Express) to accommodate Autonomous Vehicles (“AV”) and to extend service to nearby neighborhoods. The purpose of this Notice of Intent is to notify vendors of the anticipated procurement process for the U2C Program, Phase 1, named the “Bay Street Innovation Corridor".
